Information direkt von der russischen Botschaft in Deutschland:
The German Embassy in Moscow is again misleading, saying that Germany is supposedly expelling Russian journalists using legal methods, and Russia, in response, is closing the German media office.
I think the German Embassy was simply afraid that it forgot to report to Berlin in an accessible form to Berbock about the Russian side’s repeated attempts to resolve the issue in a legal and professional manner, allowing journalists from both countries to work normally.

I appeal directly to the German media: the ARD office is not closed, the German government is lying to you again. In response to the German side’s order for Russian journalists to leave Germany, the Russian side took mirror measures against two German ARD journalists (Correspondent and Cameraman). The chief correspondent of the Moscow bureau of the German television channel, Ina-Maria Ruck, as well as the rest of the accredited employees of the bureau, including 3 German citizens, work as they always did.
Or does the German Embassy in Moscow believe that we have been frivolous?
